How you can help us
The Mayor, the City Manager,
transit contractors who are promoting rail and its related transit modes
are working very hard to put LRT into place whether you want it or not.
They'd also prefer that you not know their full intentions until it is
too late for your complaints to make a difference. These folks are also
getting paid--very well we may add--to do this. For some of them, this
is their full-time job. This transit industry is big business, with
billions of dollars in sales and revenue to be had...from your tax
dollars.
On the other hand we, your fellow citizens, who are trying to bring
public awareness of the real facts to you are doing so on our own time
and at our own expense. Your support for our efforts can be as simple as
calling the mayor
and councilmembers to express your desire for truthfulness in the
public transit debate.
